We are Individuals

Each sister in Pi Beta Phi is an individual with her own strengths, interests and successes. But even as we celebrate the diversity of each of our sisters, we know that as a group, we are stronger for our diversity. Each sister adds something to the chapter and leaves her own mark.

We have girls from many different backgrounds and many different places around the country, even around the world. We represent a diverse group of majors and other activities.

We are Family

For some girls, coming to MIT is the farthest they have been from home. But Pi Phi is a home away from home for all the sisters. In Pi Phi, you will always find a sister ready to share in your triumphs and to support you in challenging times. We help each other with our classes, cheer at each other's sports games, and watch each others performances. In Pi Phi, you will find a family of the best kind always ready to share a laugh or a good cry from your college years and beyond.

Sisterhood Events

An important part of being a Pi Phi is forging sincere friendships, and we believe the best way to do this is to have fun with your sisters! We love spending time together in both impromtu and more organized get-togethers. These events have ranged from dinner and dim sum outings to retreats to go apple picking and mixers with other groups on campus. We also believe that every once in a while, dressing up can be more than a little fun.
